The packaging of the milk chocolate Hershey bar has been changed from the two step process of brown wrapper over foil, as seen below:  This change in packaging was explained as necessary for increased freshness of product and to preclude tampering with the contents.  It is believed many other candy suppliers will be doing the same thing in the future.    Due to the packaging and the solutions we have come up with, you are not  limited to the Hershey's milk chocolate bar.  You can also use Mr. Goodbar, Cookies-N-Cream and any other candy bar that is 1.55 ounces or close to it.  All orders with candy bars will come with the Hershey's milk chocolate unless otherwise specified by the customer.

  

Hershey uses a one piece mylar type wrapper with sealed flappy ends, as seen below: 

 

The old bar was easy to wrap and had a very professional, finished look - as you can see below.

 

To keep the professional, finished product we have three options for you to choose.

bulletWe use a gold or silver sticker that fits on the end of the new style candy bars - you can see the stickers on a candy bar below prior to placement of the personalized wrapper.  Once the personalized wrapper is placed on the bar, you will have a finished, professional-looking product as seen in the "Thanks a Million" bar above.  This option will not be an additional cost.

Unless otherwise noted, the silver foil ends will be shipped with your order.  You will also receive wrapping instruction for the foil ends and the personalized wrapper.

bulletWe also have a foil option to wrap the candy bar (over the original wrapper, of course) and then cover with your personalized wrapper.  The result - a very professional, extremely personalized, finished look to your candy bar!  This option with a silver or gold foil will not be an additional cost either.

Any of the following foil colors will be an additional cost of $.10 per candy bar: pink, medium blue, opal, light blue, fuschia, red, green, orange, chartreuse, and lavendar.

 

bulletWe can also design (with a custom designed wrapper) a closed-end wrapper, which means you would not need to have the foil ends or foil sheets.  Your wrapper will look similar to the following bar. (Click on the image to see a larger view)

With this option, you would place double-sided tape on the edges of the bar and the back, then use zig zag scissors to cut the end of the bar to give it a finished look.

Additional information:  We strongly suggest that you avoid buying or trying to wrap in foil the chocolate bar only.  This may lead to problems with perceived or an accusation of product tampering.  Also, receivers of the product who have allergies to certain ingredients won't know what the contents of the product are and may have a reaction.
